What It Does

A chemical peel removes the outer layer of skin (epidermis). It can be used to treat fine wrinkles, acne, uneven skin tone and dryness.

What To Expect

Your esthetician will apply a chemical solution to your skin typically containing glycolic, or salisylic acid. You might feel a mild stining during this process. Then the skin will be neutralized to remove the chemical solution.
